Here is my piece in the Washington Post about a truly exciting example (or here) of how social media can grab something and not let go, and the result can be instant community, that is as strong as any anywhere. A woman with cancer began blogging and tweeting about it. The rest is history. Is anybody in any of the presidential campaigns paying attention? More comment soon on this.

Great article and post. And now that I'm here, I'm more than a little impressed with your blog. I think I need to know you. Thank you for reporting on a great cause and for your other work on public sector blogging as well.
